WaSH ME WHIP (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Management Education: a Wellness and Health Improvement Project) was the Area IV launch of JCI Philippines' Clean Water and Sanitation program. It was held on July 15, 2024, at Marcos V. Fuentes Integrated School (MFIS) in Dinginan, Roxas City.
Who ran it
The Western Visayas Region hosted the launch, and JCI Roxas Halaran was the lead host. JCI Roxas Makawiwili and JCI Roxas Sinadya co-hosted.
What happened
More than 60 learners, along with the school's teaching and non-teaching staff, joined the sessions. They covered two topics:
- The indispensable role of water in hygiene, and water conservation
- Hygiene and proper handwashing
The three Roxas chapters then turned over four 55-gallon water drums and hygiene kits to the participants.
The highlight was an announcement from the Metro Roxas Water District Public Information Office. It agreed to help improve the water system of the MFIS facility, taking the cause of clean water beyond a single day.

What came after
Clean water has stayed one of the chapter's causes. Members have served as Regional and Area Chairs for Clean Water and Sanitation. In 2026, the chapter launched the area-wide Blue Flow Initiative.
