JCI Roxas Halaran's Computer Literacy Program, also called COMPLIT, teaches basic digital skills to students in Roxas City. The chapter's goal is to help bridge the digital divide, "one keystroke at a time."

Batch 1: San Juan, Baybay

The program began in early 2026 in Brgy. San Juan, Baybay. After serving the community through Hot Meals on Wheels, the chapter took the lessons to the local pisonet café, meeting senior high students where they already are. The chapter describes the approach as contextualized, localized and digital-ready, because innovation belongs in every neighborhood.

In March 2026, the first 16 graduates from San Juan completed the program. LO Secretary John Moses Aposaga was their trainer. The chapter points to him as an example of how members' professional skills become the chapter's service.

Part I for elementary students

On August 1, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12 noon, the chapter held COMPLIT: Computer Literacy Training for Elementary Students, Part I in Brgy. V, Roxas City. This time the focus was on the youngest learners: basic digital skills to build their confidence and curiosity with technology.

What comes next

The chapter calls Batch 1 "just the beginning", and the elementary training is labeled Part I, so more sessions are planned. If your barangay or school would like a session, message the chapter.
